I have always been a huge fan of Eric Brooman's Utah Belt railroad. It's western flavor and nods to the Southern Pacific originally pulled me in, along with Eric's brilliant artistry and wonderful use of color. An interesting facet of the UB is that - unlike many model railroads- it is not set in a particular time frame. Eric updates his motive power as time goes by to reflect the same changes as the prototype. Eric had visitors to the Utah Belt as part of the 2010 Narrow Gauge convention in St. Louis and I got to see the layout and meet him in person for the first time. It's a wonderful railroad and his eye for color and knack for scenery is really obvious. Enjoy these shots of his wonderful railroad! .~MCG
