Shortly after building the Grimm's model I realized that the 2010 Narrow Gauge Convention would be held within driving distance. Well, I had big ideas for a Diorama box and some environmental effects and etc etc. What I didn't have was much time to get it done. This led to some concentrated work and trying a few new techniques and materials that were foreign to me. So, -follow along as we take Grimm's from a small model to a big diorama!
A couple notes: Like the previous "Building Grimm's" Gallery I have tried to split the build up into processes to make it easier to digest. And also like last time, I worked on each of these simultaneously to keep things moving.
Also, like last time, I had crappy lighting and didn't spend much time on properly photographing my progress. Learn from me kids - buy good lighting!
I hope you enjoy the process as much as I did and maybe you'll pick up a tip or two along the way. Enjoy! ~MCG
