Welcome to the El Dorado Seaside Suites! It's a small all inclusive
resort with about 250 suites. Each room has a back porch or balcony
with a hammock that faces the ocean. The above shots are of the
backside of the suites.
There were
nice paths leading from the suites to the different restaurants and of
course to the beach. Most of the damage from the last hurricane had
been cleaned up and a lot of the trees were staked down.
This area is
the outside cafe and bar. You could sit outside and order meals and
drinks anytime you felt the urge. For us that meant Virgin Daiquiris
and Cheeseburgers at 11am! There was also a nice stage here where the
nightly entertainment would often take place. The last picture is of
the pool area and the back of "Los Arecifes" restaurant.
This is more
of the pool area. We didn't ever make it into the pool as we spent
most of our time at the beach. The sinks in the public restrooms were
sweet and they had warn towels.
There was an
on-site spa and you could get massages in this gazebo (for extra cash of
course.) Here's Ang on the path - ready to relax! All along the resort
and on the beach there were swing beds and huts with beds. You could
grab a bed and lie back on the beach and enjoy the breeze.
