For J Term 2000, I went on the business Interim to Australia (and a brief day in New Zealand.)  This was by far the best trip I have ever taken.  We spent about a week in each place we stopped and split our time between seminars, lectures, and speakers and touring and partying.  We visited Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Cannes.  On my last free day I rode the train up to the rainforest.  That was a spectacular trip.  We also spent a day on a cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef for snorkeling.  These are the pics....  plus more to come........

Yup.  Kangaroo.  I got to feed them, they were pretty tame.  We did see some in the wild too....
